Frequently asked questions about the main campus library building, borrowing rules, and study-room booking.

What time does the main library close on weekdays?

Official answer: the main library closes at 21:00 Monday through Friday. Last entry for new visitors is at 20:45.

How do I book a group study room?

Official answer: book study rooms through the library portal using your student ID. Same-day bookings open at 08:00.

Rooms may be booked for up to three hours per day during exam periods.

Can alumni borrow books from the main library?

Official answer: alumni may register for a borrowing card at the help desk and may check out up to five items at a time.

Alumni cards expire after twelve months unless renewed online.

Where do I return books outside staffed hours?

Official answer: use the after-hours return slot at the main entrance. Items are backdated to the previous open day.
